Sarah was born in Fairbanks, raised there and in a remote cabin in the Yukon Flats.  Sarah spent months on remote rivers and other places growing up with the only technology being a satellite phone and later a digital camera.  Wood was something used for fuel and building, but occasionally she would find a piece that was a little different from the rest and did not need much to bring out its natural beauty. Sarah enjoys bringing out the hidden beauty of the forest as well as its functionality in her woodworking
